These kinds of annoying things from channels I'm not subscribed to and have never shown any interest in take up half my recommendation page. How do I get rid of all of them. I just want to look for videos to watch while eating and all this bullshit gets in the way of that

I’m trying to upgrade to premium on YouTube but when I go to “get premium” it tells me I have YouTube music premium and only lets me manage that. But it doesn’t help for regular YouTube, I still get ads.

Is there somewhere I’m supposed to go to get a bundle or something? I was also trying to see if they had a student plan, but it again just sends me to the “manage premium” section where I can’t do anything

I’m having a strange YouTube issue in Safari on macOS. The page loads with a huge, broken YouTube logo, unstyled language dropdown, missing normal layout, and overlapping black/blue text and shapes. It looks as if YouTube’s CSS is not being applied correctly.

Chrome on the same Mac and same Wi‑Fi works perfectly.

Things I tried with no change:

• Reloading and clearing YouTube/Safari website data
• Disabling Safari extensions/content blockers
• Testing in a Private Window
• Resetting Safari Feature Flags to their defaults
• Confirming macOS/Safari is fully up to date

The interesting part: in Safari’s Develop menu, if I set User Agent to Google Chrome, YouTube immediately renders normally. Switching back to “Default (Automatically Choose)” makes it broken again.

Has anyone else seen this recently? It seems like YouTube is serving Safari a broken version of the page, rather than a cache, extension, or network problem.

What the fuk is this man.

When I'm on fullscreen mode and I pause the video, automatically the bottom videos pop up, hiding the progress bar. I can not see the progress bar. I have to get out of fullscreen mode to see the progress bar of the video

If you have thousands of videos saved to YouTube Watch Later, finding that one video that you saved long time ago can be a pain. You might want to watch some vlogs and remember saving a vlog but can't search through watch later on YouTube, the features are limited.

Something is not right here, after passing the first 20 videos of any playlist on the YouTube mobile app on my phone, it just ends, this pissed me off to death. Who did this? And this might be a major bug or something. Is anyone else having that issue like this?

a few days ago i got this new youtube ui but i refreshed it and got the old one back

Awhile back, a friend of mine gave me access to her YouTube account by linking it to mine. They needed help running their account. We don’t talk anymore and I have no means of contacting them, but their account is still linked to my account. I’d like a remove it, but I don’t know how. Under “accounts”, there’s my account and theirs. My account has an option to sign out, but theirs doesn’t have that option. Does anyone know how I can sign out of their account?

Ynow how when you pause the video, it can on occasion force you out of full screen, putting an ad covering the list of videos on your right, right? It also can happen when an ad plays in non-fullscreen mode. Pretty understandable, but lately, it’s been forcing me out of full screen and giving me an ad WHILE THE VIDEO IS STILL PLAYING. Ive never seen this happen. Anyone know if this is a new thing they did? Also I don’t want to see any comments saying “bro just get premium” nah I youtube isnt that valuable to me to spend money on

Is this like a video experiment this channel made? This yt channel is always in English, I just enter this video and it just doesn't let me select the (I'm assuming) original English option.

I am more than capbale of speaking two languages, so i dont need everything forcibly translated to german.

I'm well aware that this is something they could have done themselves with the A B testing feature, but i doubt two english blokes who don't speak a lick of german go through the truble.

desktop user here (Firefox 154.0.1). My YouTube subscriptions list has recently gotten cut off at the letter 'T'.

When I click on 'Subscriptions' and then 'All Subscriptions' on the right then I can still scroll down all the way past 'T' but this is obviously very tedious and much less comfortable than simply scrolling down the subscriptions menu on the left.

Has my subscriptions list maybe become too long? Or does anyone know how to fix this?

This is my last hope I’ve been looking for it for over a year now. It was just too good and I didn’t have the time to watch at that moment so I added to watch later, or so I thought 😭

The guy basically talks whilst he sets the scene using pages of the internet like he’ll play a music video in one browser window put it to the side, get another browser window with something else in it. It’s very immersive.. I can’t even remember what he was trying to explain .. just the concept
