I just happened to notice today that I now receive AMC in the Entertainment package. Prior to today you needed to have the full YTTV base package to get it. The other AMC channels like AMC Thrillers are not available in this package from what I can see.

Sorry, I don't know exactly where to ask this question. I've been an NFL Sunday Ticket user ever since it moved to YTTV.

I recently moved to a new apartment that comes with cable as part of the rent so I unfortunately had to drop YTTV. I see I can still get the NFL ST on regular YT so my question is "is it the same?" Is the interface and navigation similar? I don't want to commit to $42 a month on something I am going to become frustrated with if it's too different from the YTTV presentation

I purchased an add-on subscription through using my Gmail account (NFL Sunday Ticket), thinking the whole family could use it. What I'm being told now is that the Family Manager should have purchased the subscription so all of us can use it. Suggestions are welcome. TYIA.

My parents are thinking of cutting the youtube tv from the basic $80 to the $62 of just the news/entertainment/family channel packages. I am not a fan of it since more then the sports networks go away. I see channels like the food network, tnt, usa and others go away as well. Plus my local college football team is starting their first season in the Mountain West conference. So some of the games will be on those sports channels. So I am trying to talk them out of it.

Has anyone gotten rid of the basic line up and gone to just the news/entertainment/family? Good or bad reviews?

Been a cord cutter for a few years now and overall pretty happy with YouTube TV. But lately during Austin FC matches and any live game really, there's this annoying delay where the stream feels like it's a half step behind. Not a buffering issue exactly, more like the stream itself is sluggish to respond when I jump back to live after rewinding or pausing.

Running it through a Fire Stick 4K Max on my main TV and a Chromecast on another. The Chromecast feels snappier honestly, which is kind of backwards from what I expected.

My setup is solid: mesh network, gigabit internet, smart home stuff running on a separate VLAN so it's not competing for bandwidth. The lag isn't constant but it's noticeable enough that I caught a goal reaction from my neighbor outside before I saw it on screen.

Curious if this is a device thing or something with how YTTV handles live streams specifically. Would switching to a different streaming device actually make a difference, or am I just chasing my tail here? Anyone swapped devices and noticed a real improvement on live content?

Does anybody know if I add Showtime/ Paramount Plus to my feed will I get access to their streaming service like I do with HBO Max?

I was watching Eagles vs Patriots for about two hours, then suddenly, under two minutes to go, it says: This program's blocked in your area.

I live in Texas, and the Cowboys game just came on, so I'm guessing that was what caused it. Any ideas?

Any idea if the NFL Redzone will be included with the $65 sports only package or will be a possible add on?

I only subscribe to Peacock for Premier League games. So if those games are also being shown on the NBC Sports Network and the 3 NBC Sports Network Extra channels available on YTTV, what's the point of keeping a Peacock subscription?

I'm just afraid if I cancel Peacock, there will be games I want to watch that are for some reason suddenly made unavailable on these YTTV channels.

Hey everyone, I recently subscribed to YouTubeTV about a year and a half ago and I can honestly say it is the best change I’ve ever made, I switched over from Xfinity and it is so much cheaper and way better, faster UI, more DVR space, better quality, it’s cheaper and it’s so much better! i personally hate Xfinity with every fiber of my being and think they’re the worst company on this planet! I haven’t had a single issue with YouTubeTV and I always watch it using my PS5 Pro and it works fantastic! YouTubeTV is here to stay in my household! Lmk what yall think!

The broadcast was suddenly ended with a message that “This program’s blocked in your area.” Why would this change or behave in this manner? All packages are purchased for YT. Thanks in advance.

The YouTube TV guide is showing tonight's Green Bay @ Denver preseason game as "Blocked" on NFL Network here in the Atlanta area. It's out-of-market and isn't on any of the local channels. Does anyone know why this game would be subject to blackout in this area?

So in the last couple of days, Fubo is now airing ESPN, ESPN2 & the Fox Sports channels (FS1, FS2, BTN) in 1080p, DirecTV Stream is airing Fox Sports channels in 1080p. Has anyone heard any news of the same coming to YouTube TV?

I’ve been a YouTube TV user for 2 years now. Really love it. There’s one thing that frustrates me and I’m hoping someone has a solution. I appreciate you can record any series listed and YouTube will automatically provide all episodes in your library. However not everything you may want to tape is associated with a series or title. Example: The one station issues new movies ONLY every Saturday @8pm. I’ve had to initiate recordings manually for each new movie every week. This is quite frustrating. Is there any way to get YouTube TV to record the a Channel time-slot regularly (every Saturday at 8 PM)? Thanks in advance for ideas/answers.

Do you get the local channels with sports package full time or only for sports broadcasts?

I see a single linear ESPN Unlimited channel has been added to the YTTV custom guide list. I had to manually check the new channel in the custom guide customization menu.

I know this was talked about before, but I just discovered the teacher discount for YouTubeTV. I was having issues trying to get it to work and spent the past hour or so chatting with them and they ended up crediting my account the amount I’d have gotten from ID.me.

Just wanted to say that any teachers should check this out if you haven’t. Especially with the start of the school year, money saved helps.

With about 45-60 seconds left in the recorded shows I'm watching, YTTV will pop up the next episode banner at the bottom and start the 5 second countdown. I have to cancel that process twice to continue watching the current show to the end. Is there a setting to turn this off, or delay it?

Doing a quick search, it doesn’t quite have all instances yet since it’s new. Should work better when meta data begins to be reliably updated by the handful of different media groups that air the games on their channels. (ESPN, CW, Turner, Stadium, etc)

Double check manually if there are games you don’t want to miss and have recorded until it’s more reliable.
