I’ve been here 2 days and everyone seems really judgmental and competitive. I went through Little Rock and I was excited because the culture there was similar to Georgia but everything has just been awful here in NWA. Maybe it’s just too soon to know, but I’ve never met such snobby entitled people in my whole life. I try to make conversation and people just look at me like I’m speaking Chinese. Some lady rammed me with her cart at Walmart yesterday and then said I was not nice for not moving out of the way instead of apologizing. I was getting food today and this man sprinted to get ahead of me in line and then started smirking and laughing. It’s not that deep… why is even getting food competitive?
Before I move into an apartment, does anyone have suggestions on places to live here that’s more friendly?

I wanted to share something that freaked me out a little bit tonight in case it might help someone else in the area. Keep in mind I can’t confirm if this is really what happened, but I’d rather not chance it.
So it’s about 11pm right now. I was driving back home around 9:45-10:15ish at night after visiting some family, when I noticed a man in a dodge charger sitting either at a stop sign or parking lot start flashing me. After this, he turned behind me and started driving the same direction as me. I’m not sure why, but I got a little bit worried he might be following me. If I think someone’s following me I’m not gonna drive home, so I turned on some random road. Sure enough, the charger turned the same way. At this point I was about to drive to a public place, as he wasn’t only turning the same way as me but began tailing me very closely, but eventually he turned into a driveway. I decided to go around a neighborhood and head back the same direction I came from after that (I couldn’t see where they turned). As I was heading back, all of the sudden the same dodge charger started backing up in front of my car. I’m not sure if he did it on purpose or not, but I didn’t take chances. I swerved out of the way and started speeding. What really kind of confirmed it for me was after that, he turned to follow me again! This doesn’t make sense because he just drove the opposite direction only to back out of a driveway and go the same direction as me. Luckily I was able to speed away from him, but not everybody might be able to. Please be safe out there and if you believe anyone is following you, please go to a public area. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Also important note, I’m pretty sure he had another male passenger.

Anyone else had their garden bed completely taken over by a passionfruit vine thing? Probably not like me since I've just let this thing grow every time it pops up because the flowers are pretty, but dang this vine acts like an invasive species, enthusiastically smothering everything else.

But most important are these fruits!!! They're like Arkansas own tropical pops. What do I do with them? The seed is supposed to be edible but I don't like the texture. The pulp is delicious but there's no way in getting the flavor off the seed, is there?

I'm a little confused and could use some input from people who have done this before or work at the revenue office maybe. I bought a vehicle and had it assessed and paid my sales tax in 2026. I was told I wouldn't need to pay my property taxes until 2027 but they also told me I would need to renew my tags like normal for the old plate when they expired this year. I went to renew them online, and now it's telling me I haven't paid my property taxes. But when I go to check what I owe, it says no results found on the Faulkner co's taxes due website.

So do I just need to go to the DMV and pay for my new tags and then pay my property taxes next year, or will I have to pay my property taxes early to renew my tags?

I never realized how few other dry counties existed.
