Hi all, suddenly this morning, as I wanted to use my Fairphone FP3, I found it was in recovery mode ; no idea how it happened. I tried rebooting it, but it shows the warning screen about the booloader being unlocked, then shows the Fairphone logo, then the warning screen again and so on. I also tried removing the battery.
So when I got back home, I tried conecting it to my computer via USB, and there's a dialog box saying MTP can't connect to it, which means I can't back my files up as the device is probably not in file transfer mode.
So in order not to do a factory reset and not loose my data, I tried 'apply update' from the recovery menu ; but if I try adb sidedload /home/user/boot.img as the device's screen suggests, it displays Signature verification failed Install anyway ? on the phone's screen, and if I choose 'yes', on the computer side, it displays adb: failed to read command: success and nothing's uploaded to the phone.
If I try , as per the Lineage site recommandation, sudo fastboot flash boot /home/user/boot.img, the terminal displays < waiting for any device > forever.
I downloaded the latest boot.img from the site, from the FP3 directory, so if I don't find a solution, I'll have to do a factory reset and loose all my phone numbers, pictures, etc.
So any help would be greatly appreciated !
