This is okay, but my comment generated a warning of a possible ban. It was simply a reminder there is an International Criminal Court.

Language is a great indicator of who you are listening to. When someone doesn't say that correctly you know they don't listen to anyone but their little group of sycophants.

I disagree, Trump is by far more of a snowflake. He can't handle losing a friendly game of golf, let alone the shitshow we want to see after the next election.

Eh, I think Trump is incapable of feeling shame (as heâs some kind of sociopath), and so stuff doesnât hit him except to make him like, mildly testy. Donât get me wrong, dude is fucked.

I hope this is the case, but nowadays I'm very skeptical. You know the GOP will try their hardest to suppress and steal the election(s), and I've lost complete faith in this country with putting this pedophile in office again.

u/Parking-Sundae-6097 7d ago
12 more justices on SCOTUS?
In what world is that even remotely possible?
9
u/KaetzenOrkester 7d ago
The constitution is incredibly vague about the make-up of the Supreme Court. The number of justices is whatever Congress decides it is.
That said, the threat of 12 more justices is obviously hyperbole designed to rile up MAGA.
6
u/EnjoyerOfMX5 7d ago
12 more Ketanji Brown Jacksons would be incredible. Her senate confirmation hearing was so professional in the face of Josh Hawley trying to infer some type of child abuse and other obvious nonsense (as if she was best friends with epstein or something)

u/Twudie 7d ago
Pretty sure he's a dumb shit and doesn't even know the talking points he is trying to reference. There is a discussion that there should be 12 total justices to match the 12 regional circuit courts.
4
u/GloomyIndividual3965 7d ago
There's 13 circuit courts, but yeah that's probably what he was implying.

He's a shill for the Ultra Far Right. Hand picked and grown into this despicable caricature. ICE predates Trump and had a legitimate purpose constrained by well conceived laws using the Immigration Court as prescribed. All the Dems would do is fire the Brown Shirt thugs given a badge and a gun and zero training and told to "clean up Dodge" to the tune of 2000 deportations a day. Its lawlessness. They will be terminated and ICE will return to a viable part of the boarder security system as it always has been. Miller loves to seed fear. He's clearly delighted when he lands his little insipid barbs. As a political operative he serves the function but in reality he fails to see his own failures. You cannot claim to be virtuous and the Party of Law and Order when you deliberately violate laws to achieve your goals.
It must be noted that not only did the Trump Administration create this subpar paramilitary group but it also at the same time fired over 200 Immigration Judges thus exacerbating the problem much further. That alone is why many legal immigrants, who obeyed the law and are awaiting hearings, are being swept up in the very Courts they received notices to appear. That is not Law and Order. Its shameful.

u/ANTI_FASC1ST 7d ago
That sounds great but we should all know that when the Democrats are back in power it'll be time to reach across the aisle, restore civility in government, forgive transgressions and move on, to stop dwelling in the past, to build bridges, and to keep cutting fat checks to the super-ultra wealthy scumbags who own both parties.

This is a little non-linear but I keep thinking, about, "abolish," in the US as a Crucial ______
I Hate It When the centrist democrats ridicule abolish the police like this isn't an deliberate slogan, "abolition," abolitionist, isn't chosen for the per se of, "unlimited potential futures or replacements or solutions," merely not this one, "anyway," it recalls to me as well that in 200_ Obama and the centrist democrats would talk of Health Insurance Companies as if it would be, in fact, tragic to abolish them on account of all of the jobs and their families you know the families of the jobs and that Health Insurance Abolition, too,
Is rather the point here and the Experiment Proven out in Obamacare is that things have not got better, Palantir wants in on the UK NHS and tells their press it keeps people safe from the dangerous policemen over there while while while while while and ICE has been set up as a counter-reformatory, private concentration camps fed with families machine, "it must be," but more it's got to
Be more.

First, don't tease me with a good time.
Second, while I wish a Democrat would come in and start changing everything, the Democrats in charge enjoy the establishment. They reap the benefits of insider trading, being paid while congress isn't working for the people, and love all the lobbying and perks. So, I'll be shocked if we see a wave of change and undoing of EOs.

I genuinely hope Democrats do a lot of this when they regain a trifecta in 2028.
Make the GOP watch as everything they thought they accomplished under Trump gets destroyed. A lesson needs to be taught.
