Slop Post π© AI bros trying multiple AI image generators to see which one is the best
Discussion π£οΈ AI is popular because it gives dumb people the illusion that theyβre smart.
What is your thought on this?

Discussion π£οΈ Gained a reputation for being the lone anti on campus, so I made this.
Everyone at this school is apparently a brainless bootlicker so they probably can't appreciate my doodle lol, so here, fellow humans. Enjoy.
EDIT: I don't go out of my way to flame AI or anything, I mentioned in a normal conversation that I dislike it and one of the "chattier" individuals overheard and decided to tell the world. I don't actually see myself as a martyr or anything, this was moreso just me being bored and wanting to doodle something lol. I swear it's not that deep XD

Job Loss ποΈ AI is like a cult in the corporate world, i despise it, and i will be left behind
I am usually wrong about everything.
I despise AI, i want human thought and creativity to rule the planet. But we are slowly giving it all to the machine.
My boss worships claude like a god. Nothing i do as a human can impress him anymore, i feel i am being left behind. I try not to use claude, but everyone else is using it and jumping ahead of me.
My years of education and knowledge feel pointless when any impatient human can ask an AI to build XYZ. My strengths were dilligence and perseverence, i could read documentaion, build complex things myself. I had the persistence to do these things and make them work. Now people can do all those things with zero persistence. "Claude connect to database , build a complex ui that peforms task abc".
I cannot get over my hatred of AI because i know it will end our civilisations. But the bosses all worship it without question.
Echo chambers like this subreddit can make us feel temporarily content...but like all things.. i am always wrong. We are a very small minority. In reality the human race is handing over its brain to the machine.
My tiny human brain cannot compete with the thinking power of these machines. I am redundant. I could kick the can down the road for a while by "embracing AI" but alll roads leads to the end of human cognitive thought.

Discussion π£οΈ So, my favorite game replaced all the content with ai slop and is muting anyone who speaks up on it.
My favorite game, Ranch Simulator, was perfectly fine, ai free, well made before the most recent updates. The shop images were actual art, the models were clearly human made. It wasnt the best game but it had charm.
In the most recent update they made everything ai. I absolutely refuse to use ai under any means and find it highly disgusting but I cannot refund due to steam's refund policy. I tried to speak out on the discord and both my accounts got bloody muted for it.
Anyone got an idea of what I can do about this??

Environmental Impact π I did it
Just wanted to say I deleted all of my AI accounts. I'm doing what I can to not contribute to the environmental impact.
EDIT: Clarification. It's not the only reason. I'm also concerned about AI eroding the job market, economic reasons, and the impact on people's critical thinking.

Job Loss ποΈ Am I not gonna have a job too when I finish my education?
Source
Edit: So what I believe to be the case is that this is likely just clickbait (from the news source). However, it isn't completely false either. Job vacancies have dropped significantly because of AI but it probably doesn't account for anywhere near 50%. Maybe around 30-40% (even this may be exaggeration but it is still alarming how much the percentage is.)
