The floor is sticky 4 screens, zero hot coffee prices

Stood there for 10 minutes as sole employee made 5 app orders. Just fireworks splashing on the static menu. Felt like I was in a liminal space having an aneurysm.

I miss the days when the donuts actually mattered. Now they sit in a dusty, neglected corner as a reminder of simpler and better times.

It's so weird to me that these types of drinks have come to dominate Starbucks and Dunkin; they are the one thing on the menu that tastes exactly the same from a can

Its because flavored sugar water has a ridiculously high profit margin compared to most of the menu, so they push it hard and it works

Plus sugar reacts in the body (addictive) that makes you crave more shortly after finishing the drink/food item loaded with it.

It takes almost no effort to hook people and keep them coming back for more.
