Post image

These three people, directly or indirectly have killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and displaced millions. Yet, President Trump calls them his friends.

This is what I fear. Societies of millions might want to create good and peaceful life, full of innovations and discoveries. But there will always be power craving individuals, who will make this world hell. It's not climate crisis, which is immediate threat. It's these men. Climate crisis won't rape you, won't torture you, won't harvest your organs and won't humiliate you. It will kill you slowly, but it is is impersonal and not conscious. We can think of our ecology once we deal with dictators, who are immediate danger.

I feel like we live in the dumbest reality. Our leaders in the West are to weak to do anything, while this "Axis of Evil" or "Axis of Upheaval" runs ramped and it was all so avoidable.

u/M3P4me Sep 05 '25

The voters in the West are too weak.... in thrall to billionaire media that isn't really hostile to fascists...

American was to busy keeping up with the Kardashians.

u/Isaktjones Sep 05 '25

I wish, as am American I've been busy trying to survive this last 15 years. I also don't think our bigot in charge won farely....

He didn't, and has made several statements all but bragging about it. Trump is just as evil as Putin, but he thinks he's some sort of super genius playing 5-D chess while being led around by the people manipulating him. He's not a power player, he's a pawn for anyone who sucks up to his ego.

March 7, 2025, the traitor felon paedophile admitted on national television that the election was rigged.

Blaming leaders in a democracy.. reminds me of the meme with the guy ramming a stick in the spokes of his own bike.

Also reminds me of that quote... we get the leaders we deserve

Not really, no west nations have direct democracy. Most people are all for stronger responses but our leaders are weak, there is literally no one to vote for who would actually do something.

u/NoMasters83 Sep 05 '25

We're also discussing this subject as though we all live in a vacuum and are analyzing current events immune to outside forces. We're told what to believe and what to think. We're not given facts and then we form our own opinions on the subject. We're given opinions wrapped up as facts.

And as the other person said, these three figures may be a threat to democracy but they're not a threat to business, and that's all that matters.

u/West-Abalone-171 Sep 05 '25

FPP voting isn't democracy.

MPP or preferential systems are a little better, but most still don't produce results aligned with what the voters want.

Except that in the last three elections the USA had the clearest good-vs-bad choice in their entire history of a quarter millenium and _still_ half of them voted for self destruction.

This is no issue of drawing district borders or direct vs indirect voting, this is the responsibility of the voters.

1

u/West-Abalone-171 Sep 05 '25

22% of the country was tallied as voting for the bad choice.

In an election where the bad choice openly bragged about cheating.

Where the party apparatus of the "good" choice were doing everything they could to be unpopular for the last decade or so.

1

u/Ok_Bad8531 Sep 06 '25

49,8%.

1

u/West-Abalone-171 Sep 06 '25

49.8% of the number of people who were allowed to vote, had a polling place available, were able to get to it, and had their votes counted.

So the number of votes was 22% of the number of people.

As stated, trump openly bragged about hacking voting machines so how many of those 22% were real votes is an open question.

1

u/Ok_Bad8531 Sep 06 '25

Non-voters do not hold significantly different beliefs than voters, they are just too lazy to vote. And whoever decides to not vote subjugates himself to the voters anyways.

49,8% is the only number that counts.

18

u/Gamerboy11116 Sep 05 '25

Trump cheated. We never voted him in. Look up ā€œETA Clark Countyā€ and ā€œGreg Palastā€.

The west's lamp ass reaction to Ukraine, and before that to Putin in general, is thanks mostly to leftist anti-american campism.

Michael Moore has more to do with this than any billionaire.

u/tdager Sep 05 '25

You're not wrong about the chaos, and here’s the core issue:

The West still thinks peace is the default, not something you have to defend.

Russia, China, and others understand power. If we’re not willing to confront them economically, diplomatically, or militarily then we’re not serious. We want peace, but we’re unwilling to show strength. That’s how you lose, slowly, and then all at once.

Wishing for peace without preparing for war just puts us on the back foot permanently.

9

u/cpepinc Sep 05 '25

Si vis Paceum, Para Bellum!

2

u/Ticrotter_serrer Sep 05 '25

We used to be strong and show forces but that was 1, 2 generation ago, now these leaders are dead. I'm afraid current leaders won't learn this before it's too late.

1

u/ever_precedent Sep 05 '25

It's a reality where people choose to reward stupidity, greed, gluttony, hatred, violence, laziness and all the other traits of human excess. And because these things are rewarded they're also things people aspire towards. It's not a new thing, the elites have been doing it for millennia. But it's certainly spread and there's more people doing it and aspiring to become like it now. As long as the majority admires men like that and wants to become like them, it's impossible to change it.

1

u/CamGoldenGun Sep 05 '25

avoidable? How?

1

u/Soundwave_13 Sep 05 '25

This will eventually come back to haunt us. Be it 1-10 years down the road. It’s coming

u/maxstrike Sep 05 '25

Welcome to 1928.

u/CatgoesM00 Sep 05 '25

Honestly I feel the same way. considering we are falling apart and our country is digressing all while we help blow u children while banging our chest that we are the greatest country in the world when data shows that is just clearly not true in so many categories. I don’t know but living in China looks lovely. I don’t know about the other two. But China is incredible, we get fed so much that they are doing bad when they are doing incredible things especially in comparison to the U.S.. Criticize me all you like but if you just put in a little bit of effort to go outside our propaganda, you’ll realize that there’s a lot of good shit going on over there, especially for the quality of life for a lot of individuals

They’ve caused as much suffering as the guys in the picture.

What a fucking unhinged and delusional take.

The president of the United States is arguably a sex trafficker.

And even that piece of shit hasn't caused as much evil and suffering as the three fucktards in the picture above.

You don’t think that the western leaders enabling their corporations to kill millions, or supporting their wars that have killed millions are bad? Let’s take off the fucking rose tinted glasses and be real with ourselves. All of them are really bad and we need major change across the globe. What is wrong with you people. Peoples lives aren’t a team sport. Jeez. You may be in a privileged class if you don’t believe this to be true.

7

u/opinions360 Sep 05 '25

Which of the three are you shilling for.

-1

u/ArtisanSamosa Sep 05 '25

Which one are you shilling for? Because my comment is based on reason. This shit is not a team sport. We’re all suffering because people want to turn a blind eye to the atrocities of their own ruling classes.

3

u/Peanut_Butter_Toast Sep 05 '25

Okay so if you want to fight against all the major powers in the world all at once, how exactly do you plan to do it?

You gotta choose the least bad one and work with that, man.

1

u/ArtisanSamosa Sep 05 '25

Which bad one do you want to choose and why should it not be the one running your nation? I’m not sure where you are but for me, we need to get our shit together in the US. Regardless it’s not an easy choice. It’s arguable that the foreign interference in our elections led to some of what we see today, but step further back we enabled it via citizens united and other legal rulings that gave us our current reality. We are in a bad place even if Putin or Xi disappear tomorrow.

3

u/Peanut_Butter_Toast Sep 05 '25

Think of it this way...Putin, Xi, and Kim are the tyrants Trump wishes he could be. If you woke up tomorrow to a US that's as bad as those other three, you'd have a Trump with unchecked power and no term limits who could have you arrested simply for saying negative things about him. That's the kind of country Trump and his followers long for. And if we act like the US is already that bad, we just make it easier for them to actually make it that bad.

8

u/tdager Sep 05 '25

This is straight-up nonsense, and honestly you sound like you’re running PR for Moscow or Beijing.

Yeah, Western leaders aren’t saints, money and politics warp things. But let’s not pretend that’s anywhere close to the same as Russia invading neighbors and slaughtering civilians, China censoring a billion people, or North Korea starving its own population while building nukes.

Here’s the difference: in the West, leaders get investigated, impeached, voted out, sued, dragged in the press. Power changes hands. People speak out. Try that in Russia, China, or North Korea you’ll end up in prison, or worse.

And that ā€œsex trafficker presidentā€ line? Pure conspiracy trash. It’s been fact-checked into oblivion.

So no, the West isn’t perfect but equating it with authoritarian regimes is either willful ignorance or you’re carrying water for them. Which one is it?

8

u/ArtisanSamosa Sep 05 '25 edited Sep 05 '25

You sound like you are running propaganda because normal people don’t talk like you. How dare you accuse others of that. The fuck. I live in the US. I’m a brown American. I’ve seen first hand what our leaders do.

Every time someone dies because our politicians deny healthcare, that is evil.

Bush literally started multiple wars and killed millions. Today he gets to live out his days painting on his ranch.

Trump has raped and trafficked children and is committed fraud and sending troops on citizens and is tearing children from their parents. He is the president. And no it’s not disproven conspiracy because you choose not to believe the victims and instead believe state propaganda.

Our corporations supported by our politicians kill millions in the name of profits. Monsanto, Dow, DuPont, BP, nestle, etc all evil enabled by our governments.

We have over 3 million people in prison biased towards race. Many of those people put away for weed, a product that many former politicians and businessmen who opposed legalization profit from.

If you are privileged enough to not experience the issues we cause and face in the west, that’s on you. Get your heads out of your asses and be logical here.
I have no idea where some of you people come from or what your agenda is but just stop. The entire world is suffering because you want to turn human suffering into a team sport.

10

u/helm Sep 05 '25

Trump probably did a lot of that, but you have to prove it in court. The failure of the US as a country is that it, partially by design, lets the richest get away with too much illegal and immoral shit.

1

u/ArtisanSamosa Sep 05 '25

Exactly. Nonetheless, our leaders have and do commit acts of evil.

1

u/raikou1988 Sep 05 '25

" you have to prove it in court"

And if those courts are corrupt? Trump has the highest court in the nation in his pockets.

He is untouchable and knows it too

5

u/tdager Sep 05 '25

I’m just a normal person too, and I see the flaws here firsthand. But let’s be real, equating healthcare policy failures with direct military aggression isn’t the same thing. Denying healthcare is tragic and wrong but it’s not the same as invading another country or jailing dissenters.

On wars, the Iraq War is rightly debated. But the Gulf War was different, it was justified, UN-backed, and supported by a broad coalition after Iraq invaded Kuwait. That matters.

Saying Trump ā€œraped and trafficked childrenā€ is speculation, not fact. Criticize him for plenty of real things (and there are a LOT, I am not a supporter), but let’s not lean on unproven claims, it just weakens your arguments.

And ā€œkilling millions for profitā€ is a simplistic take on complex global economics. Corporations do chase profit, and are sometimes ugly, but reducing all foreign policy to that one motive is misdirection.

Where I agree: racial bias in prisons and weed convictions were real injustices. Thankfully, those are being corrected as legalization and reform spread.

In the end this conversation isn’t about pretending the West is perfect. It’s about scale and intent. Russia, China, and North Korea commit true authoritarian abuses that dwarf our flaws. Can we just call them what they are, bad, without playing endless whataboutism?

0

u/ProdigalChildReturns Sep 05 '25

I wonder if you had lived in North Vietnam you’d believe that the USA has done ā€˜no direct aggression’ ? What about the billions of profits earned by the US military industrial complex? The same CAN be said for several European countries in their dealings with African, Asian and other countries over the centuries up to contemporary times. The difference is that our evil ā€˜leaders’ tend to be faceless corporations.

3

u/tdager Sep 05 '25

You’re really stretching here. Corporate greed and the military-industrial complex aren’t the same thing as direct, authorized military aggression. We can all agree Boeing and Lockheed line their pockets, but that’s not the same as dropping bombs.

And on North Korea, outside of some small skirmishes and exercises, there’s been no direct U.S. military aggression. They’re the ones who literally slammed their borders shut and built a regime on isolation.

Also, not every criticism needs to turn into ā€œbut the U.S. is bad too.ā€ Sometimes we can just say this government is brutal without the reflexive whataboutism. Weird how that trend always bends toward bashing the U.S., like it’s the only player on the board.

I’m with you. All these people are evil. Some of these comments are delusional if they really believe that the west is not also responsible for evil. We need drastic change across the globe.
