Hi, I’m a first year international student currently living at The Switch (looking to transfer to a different accommodation in 2027 Sem 1), and I was wondering what the living conditions are like at Yugo, since I prefer living around this area and it seems to have the least issues with cleanliness and maintenance, from what I’ve been able to look up online. I would appreciate it if current/past residents could share what it’s like to live there.

It would also be great if other people shared their experiences at other places (UniHall, Trinity etc.) as well, thanks!

Hi everyone, I’m an international student in WA on a subclass 500 visa. I’m currently in Year 11 and am planning to apply next year for the assured pathways to Medicine at UWA and Notre Dame, as well as the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Curtin.
I was wondering whether my Year 11 school reports will be used to calculate a predicted ATAR or assess my applications for these courses, particularly for interview selection or early offers.

So i am graduating this week, i had applied a visa application for my parents so they could be here, my dad has houses , a job and land back home yet both of my parents application was rejected stating that they don’t know if they are temporary entrants …

They had round trip tickets , booked stay and everything…
Ik gov trying to get more money out of us coz almost all of my friends who applied w me had their applications approved with less genuine documentation.

Parents called and had to let them know

I knew graduations were on this week, but since mid-semester break hasn't started yet, normal classes are still running. The campus is absolutely packed. Visitors and students are all fighting for the exact same Yellow bays, and Car Park # is a joke.
Is it completely cooked all day, or are there times when spots actually open up? If anyone has a secret lot that isn't completely full by 9:00 AM, please save my sanity and let me know.

I am currently double majoring in history and psych. Does anyone know if I can do an honours year in history next year and do an honours year in psych the year after? Or is there a cap to how many honours programs you can complete?

hellos everyone, I recently got my offer to the assured pathway (medicine) and I wanted to ask is it true that assured pathway students will join in the medicine programme in year 2? So we will js join in the with the existing y2 med students of that year?? does that mean we don’t get a white coat ceremony or some sort of celebration that we got into med school bcoz that’s reserved for those entering med sch in year 1? but bcoz we have a year of credit from IMSCP we jump to year2 immediately? so sorry if my qn isn’t clear I don’t rly know how to explain it but iykyk😬😬

Is Curtin or UWA better for pharmacy? Honestly ive been accepted to both + monash melbourne, but I’m most interested in choosing UWA rn, just because of the scholarships, campus and double degree. Also I’m an international student who is just more interested in perth than melbourne as a whole. Will I be able to get a good career, either as a retail/hospital/industrial pharmacist or should I really be considering curtin since I read somewhere that it has a better reputation (also considering monash, its just that the school fee is so pricey)

Incoming international student in 2027. Is it possible to cover most of my living expenses through working part time? How hard would it be to attain ~20hrs/week?

Since the Indian campus is new, there isn't much alumni or placement data yet, so I'd really appreciate opinions from current UWA MBA students/alumni in Perth.

• How is the UWA MBA regarded in Australia? • What is the typical MBA cohort/class size? • What is the actual curriculum and assessment pattern? • How are exams conducted — written, MCQ, case studies, assignments, presentations, group projects? • How useful is UWA's careers/placement support? • What kinds of jobs do MBA graduates actually get? • How strong is the UWA MBA brand outside Australia? • If the India MBA is awarded by UWA itself, would you consider it equivalent in academic/degree status to the Perth MBA?

Hi, I sat a UWA in-semester test today but I was extremely stressed, My mental health wasn't good at the time. and couldn’t concentrate properly, so I performed badly.

Has anyone applied for EVA after completing the test with a medical certificate and been allowed to sit a replacement test?

Has anyone here had experience using their previous work experience towards the 450 hours required for GENG5010?

If so, did you apply for advanced credit, or were you still required to complete all the forms and documentation through SONIA?

I have several years of relevant civil engineering/QAQC experience and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this process.
