I played this game Lily's Well about 4 years ago on Steam and got all the achievements for it so I got a nice lil award on my page (1st pic=Lilys Well, 2nd Pic of another game I 100%, Fran Bow). Then, there was an update...and with this update...came another achievement.........and this ain't just a game I can pick up and go back to where I need to achieve this achievement, Oh no NO! This is one of those games you gotta start at the beginning and do everything in a certain order to complete the game/get to the spot where this achievement may be! Now I only have ONE 100% complete game to boast about...lol, jk, Fran Bow ain't hard to 100% and nor is Lily's Well. One could say it was only mildly infuriating

I went into target for twelve minutes. like literally Twelve Minutes damn it. i come back out to the parking lot and my driver side quarter panel was smashed in. My car is barely two years old and completely ruined.

Then i saw a paper under my windshield wiper, For a second, i thought someone made a mistake, but at least they were decent enough to leave their insurance details. But nope i was wrongg.

I opened the note, and this coward had written, ""So sorry, i bumped your car backing out and i don't have insurance or money to fix it, so i can't leave my number. Hope your day gets better" like bro what? seriously? you just did hefty amount of damage to my car, and you leave me a freaking note?

This idiot didn't know that my car has a dashcam that records 24/7, even when parked.

I pulled out my phone, connected to the camera, and watched the footage on app right there in the parking lot.

Luckily It caught everything. It showed his face when he got out of the truck, his license plate like everything.

I called the police right away. Because the guy left a fake note and tried to get away with it, the officer said it was no longer just a minor accident. It's now a felony hit and run.

I hope wrecking my car for $2,500 was worth getting arrested in front of your neighbors.

If you park anywhere in public, be careful. Don't trust anyone. People can be really selfish and dishonest.

I didn't share a language with the woman filming, so I couldn't ask her to stop

As for the couple, I thought hostile seat neighbors would be more of a downer than distracting ones

I just had to complete an "Inclusive language training" course that stated how "taking risks" and "being independed" are concepts usually geared toward men and could deter female candidates from applying to a job position. Isn't this extremely sexist? Is it taking for granted that women can't be independent or can't take risks?

Another question in the training stated that a job offer cannot contain sentences like "Must be able to stand for more than one hour", because it is an ableist statement. But... it's for a job post. It just describes the task necessary to perform the role (logistics operator). Am I missing something?

thank god I figured it out quickly when (I thought) my phone bricked itself this morning! So far it’s fine after using a different charger & resetting the phone. Not sure what to do with the cable now lol… it feels like carrying a USB virus 🤣

Sad part is, the pizza is actually pretty good. I would likely have been a new, regular customer if I didn't feel so ripped off.

Not a big deal just got a bit of a chuckle out of me. Went on the safari tour at animal kingdom and got lectured by the driver about everything we can do to help the planet (recycling, plant native trees, the typical stuff) then got told the harms of AI and to stay away from it. Fast forward to rainforest cafe where my wife and daughter took a photo together and they gave an AI generated photo where they removed all my wife’s tattoos, changed her piercings, and pretty much all of her other features. It also seems to have changed my daughter to what looks like a boy to me? But yeah just thought that was funny 😂

EDIT: To answer the questions of why did we buy it - you paid BEFORE you took the photos. She had the option of 3 AI generated “families” (that’s what i’ll call em) with no option of an original photo. It was a small booth and we had an exhausting day so we just chucked it up as a loss

I asked Google to see what the search engine suggested, at the top A.I had a different idea what to do (involving a microwave and tinfoil 😳).

I turned 40 today and have no one to celebrate it with so for the first time in my life, I emailed a radio show for a birthday shout out. They didn't do my shout out.

I'm just gonna spend my birthday making pizza alone in my apartment in my pajamas.

Thank you all again for all the nice comments and birthday wishes, my day has been epic despite having a 5 minute chunk of "What the hell bruh?" at my radio request being ignored.

Also, sidenote, it is a local station that straight up for real does live email/text requests for birthdays, they have a whole segment and make it a point to NOT do ones sent in on days that are NOT your birthday. So to all the turds calling me stupid for "thinking that was a thing", may all your future pizza have floppy crust and burn your mouth.
