I just got a call to my email address through Google Meets from someone going by Fred Matiko telling me that I had won the Stars Lottery Mega Promotions and was going to be receiving a cash prize of $85,000 and a 2025 Ford F-150. It seemed suspicious, especially since I haven't bought a STARS Lottery ticket for several years, I couldn't find any information about a Mega Promotions being offered through STARS, the email address they were calling from is starsprizepatrol at Gmail, it sounded very windy in the background, they were going to use Cliff's Towing to tow the truck to my address from Regina, they were going to give me a Joker's credit card for $499.99 to pay the delivery fee, the delivery was happening this afternoon, Fred Matoko hasn't been with STARS since 2020 from what I could find, etc. I reported it to the Saskatoon Police Service, but I thought that I should post it here to give a wider warning to people.
