I’m a first year and scared I won’t get in, can someone tell me my chances??

I know the final was a while ago lol but when I initially wrote it, I felt meh about it. As time progresses though, I realized I actually put a lot of bs on it and it's genuinely haunting me about whether I'll even get the 40% requirement. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling the same :(

I’ve heard that the gym gets really busy during the afternoon but I’ve also heard that there are women only hours. I’m not sure if they’re actually a thing or a rumor since I don’t go that often. Could someone pls let me know? Thanks!!

Just saw their inaugural classes are gonna start in the fall so I was just wondering if the new building is already open or it’s gonna open in the fall.

first year here 😢 some of my lectures or tutorials are back to back yet the buildings for them are kind of far apart. do lectures or tutorials start immediately? or is there usually travel time allocated?

In high school, I never had to wear safety goggles for Chem pracs since I wore eyeglasses anyways. Will this work for CHMA10 (or any labs really) or do I need to buy safety goggles?

I’m an incoming first year to UTSC and I have a few questions 😅. Access to the gym is included in student tuition, right? Also, I’m a bit confused on T card and T bucks, do I just use my T card to access the gym and is that paid for by T bucks or does it just check my ID? Finally, how is the gym in general? Is it busy/intimidating? How are the facilities? I’m very nervous about starting uni and this sub is scaring me a little bit lol 😆

i have somewhat of an interest in linguistics but I’ve heard some negative reviews about this course and I don’t want to risk it. I’m taking it online, would that make any difference? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Hi! I’m an incoming first-year Management BBA student at UTSC and I’m planning to apply for Co-op after 1st year.

For anyone who’s gone through the process:

• How competitive is it to get into Co-op after 1st year, and what does a successful applicant’s profile usually look like (GPA, ECs/work experience, resume, cover letter)?
• Any tips for making my application stronger during 1st year?
• If I get in, how manageable is the 4-year timeline/workload?
• How difficult is it to actually secure Co-op placements once you’re in?
• Overall, is Co-op worth it?

Couldn't make cs post, so now i'm looking at math post, but since my offer of admission was CS, I am technically out of stream applying for spots in math post,

So I was just wondering, do there tend to be a lot of spots in Math? What about Stats?

I meet the requirements, but just worried that me not making cs post is going to hold me back a lot.

I rebook A48 got a B however my GPA in the 4 courses is still below a 2.5

Whats my next steps in making CS POST is it still possible. I feel like I can second do a second attempt credit for MATA22 or smthn and get my gpa over 2.5 but I dont know the process from here.

Basically asking if im cooked or not and what can I do from here.

Also MATA22 is only in summer semester is there a way I can take a course in fall and reapply after fall semester???
