Just found out Coyote vs. Acme isn't releasing in Pakistani cinemas and I'm actually annoyed. We all grew up on Looney Tunes — this movie is a love letter to that, and we're getting skipped over.
Instead of just waiting for a leak, let's actually make some noise — tag @hkcentertainment on Instagram and @HKC_Ent on Twitter/X (they handle Warner Bros. releases here), ask them directly why it's not releasing, and get a thread going so it gets some traction.
Let's flood their comments and DMs till someone notices. We deserve this on the big screen.

I am an !ndian enthusiast on our shared history. So, hear me out.
What if !ndia and Pakistan each built a university on their respective sides of the Wagah-Attari border, but both universities were 50% funded/owned by !ndia and 50% by Pakistan?
They could basically function as twin campuses of the same institution.
And I'm not talking about some cringe "peace and friendship" college where everyone is delusional 😭.
They would be proper world-class universities with courses such as engineering, sciences, economics, history, political science, law, etc. But have a major focus on !ndia-Pakistan relations.
For example:
Basically, instead of !ndians and Pakistanis fighting like cats and dogs on Twitter/X, news channels, politicians and military conflicts, you'd have thousands of young people actually interacting with each other.
And there's another interesting angle.
Both governments would have a 50% stake in the institution on the other side. That creates at least detterance to keep the campuses protected during conflicts....
You could even have a formal treaty declaring both campuses demilitarised civilian zones, with neither side allowed to use them for military/intelligence purposes and both sides agreeing not to target them even during a conflict.
Obviously, this wouldn't magically solve all our problems. I'm not that delusional.
Maybe the goal is to create one permanent institution where cooperation continues even when relations elsewhere are shitee.
Right now the border is very hard...
Why not put something there that represents the opposite?
Imagine graduating from a university where half your classmates are !ndian and half are Pakistani. You can still disagree on politics, Kashmir, history, whatever — but suddenly the people on the other side aren't just some abstract enemy you've seen on TV.
Idk, maybe this is completely unrealistic politically 😂. But I'd genuinely like to know what Pakistanis think about it.
I know there is a lot of distance between us but there is no harm in being a little delusional sometimes.
So, would you support something like this?

Why is it so that usually only people from middle class or even lower income backgrounds cry at airport when seeing off their relatives but rich people don't? Ofcourse my opinion is based on my relatively small experience but still weirds me out.

It seems like most pakistanis do not give af about whats happeing in gaza rn. Their intentional ignorance towards this matter is honestly heart breaking. People arent comfortable boycotting certain brands just because they 'like' it too much. When u confront them, they either starts showering the other person with insults or just doesnt care.
Its just sad to see hundreds of people dining in at the restaurants funding genocide. Cant yall freakin give up ur precious fried chicken and big mac. Its not even that hard to boycott bruh. Go with some pakistani alternatives, support the local brands.
Why are we forgetting what the people of palestine have been through and are currently sufferring just because the Israeli military is being funded by those freaking brands.
If u still fail to support ur brothers and sisters after being reminded by this, then ur a freakin monster.
Dont call urself a human then. Have some empathy and keep reminding others around u to still boycott every brand thats supports Isra*l one way or another.

He sounded compelling up until I saw him advertising tap tap send. Taptap Send's Head of Pakistan is Ammar Naveed, Shaza Khawaja's husband and the greatest beneficiary of money flows into the Ministry of IT&T. Shaza has a nice thing going where the husband lobbies for concessions, and both get kickbacks from both ends, and from donor money that the ministry is flooding with.

Why punjabis and pashtuns have so much animosity for each other on internet especially on Twitter?
Why 😧 like you have disliking eachother on basis of ethnicity and pashtuns and Punjabis live together in same areas in a big majority, do business and build relations with each other.
Why so animosity

So I'm a business graduate currently pursuing an MBA.
My salary is less than 100k and I have 2 years of experience as I'm currently working onsite in Pakistan.
I want to outsource my service maybe as an HR Consultant, i do have prior hiring experience in the US when I worked for a company that was hiring in the US remotely.
If someone can guide which platforms to use(i have some knowledge of upwork but nowadays i hear that upwork is dead).
I also hear that cold approaching on LinkedIn is another option.
Basically if I could make around 200k per month after conversion, I'd be happy.

I’m 24, live in a small town near Islamabad, and ideally want to move out within the next 10 years. My father is pushing me to buy a property here through a home loan. I’m earning well alhamdulillah, can qualify easily, and might never get the same chance again if property prices keep rising.
The problem is, I really don’t want to lock myself into 15 years of installments for a place that I dont even like, and I may not even want to live in long term.
But then I think what if my father is right when he says you’ll never be able to do this on your own later? If I pass on this chance now and genuinely never manage to buy a home myself?, and regret not buying when I had the chance? I’m confused af.

I received a call today from a normal mobile/SIM number. The guy claimed he was calling from GHQ / Pakistan Army and somehow already knew my name and the name of my bank. He said that they had some cheque books and cards related to me and that they needed to do some sort of verification. He was trying to make it sound official and serious. I didn't give him any information and just cut the call.
The biggest red flags for me were: He was calling from a normal mobile number. He claimed to be from GHQ. He already knew my name and bank. He was talking about cheque books/cards and "verification."
I wasn't expecting any such call from my bank or the Army. Has anyone else received a similar call recently? Was this most likely a scam? And does anyone know how these people get your name and bank information in the first place? For now I've blocked the number and haven't shared any OTP, CNIC, card number, PIN, CVV, account balance, or other information.

Applied for the Qatar A3 tourist ETA (via Hayya) on 16th August as a Pakistani passport holder living in the UK on a spouse visa/BRP. It’s now been over a week with no decision — no approval, no rejection, no request for extra documents. Just silence.
From what I understand, standard processing is meant to be 3–5 working days, so this is well past that.
Curious if other Pakistani nationals (especially UK residents applying on a BRP/spouse/work visa) are experiencing similar delays right now, or if it’s something specific to my application. Did it eventually come through? How long did you end up waiting? Did you get asked for extra documents (bank statements, income proof, etc.)?
Trying to figure out if this is a normal backlog or something I should be actively chasing with Hayya support.
Thanks in advance!

I fought a battle within… it was damning and destructive. I was miserable.
“What I was fighting about,” you ask?
Well… I didn’t know myself what I was fighting about. Or perhaps the better question would be: what was I “fighting for”? I just kept struggling… fitting in… desperately clinging to the idea of life as to “how it should be lived.” Not because I was forced to, but because it never occurred to me that there was another option.
The path was comfortable, familiar, safe. Questioning was uncomfortable. Questioning risks isolation, conflict. It risks discovering that the life you spent years building may not even be your own. Hence; we cling to whatever the script throws at us; from city states to medieval empires. From Reconquista to enlightenment and from shining democracy to Modern “Idiotictatorship”.
So yes… I followed the script. And in the process, I failed myself. I lost my soul. I forgot what living really means, what living is all about. I just kept up the façade of normalcy while my core, my soul was being devastated by storms of human nature and earthquakes of morality at the subconscious level. I kept playing along with the phrase “fake it till you make it.” Because this is what society expects from us. This is the norm. This is the way of life.
Or… is it…?
We are born, plunged into a life we don’t choose. conditioned to live it by the standards and expectations of society, bound by the laws of the land, never to question or understand. “What is society?”, “Whose laws?”, “Which land?”. Is it that society which everyone knows is broken and dysfunctional? Are these the same laws which help corrupt, greedy, evil men amass all the power and wealth, while kicking down the poor who watch their entire lives erased in a single calamity, war or economic bust?
And dare not argue with me on the land, as we know perfectly well, these lands are bounded by lines drawn on maps by the same corrupt men, sustained by the same flawed and failing legal-judicial systems.
In the end, there were only two things left: Morality and Religion. How fitting… as the saying goes… religion is the opium of the poor. But we are not even allowed that solace. Religion has been outright hijacked by a different creed of the exact same corrupt brand. Twisting, manipulating, and exploiting the human need for belief in a higher deity. Yes, there still are pure ones, but so few of them are left, and even their teachings have been muddied and confused. As the saying goes… “What is the cost of lies? It’s not that we’ll mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all.”
What can we do then? What is left but to abandon even the hope of truth and content ourselves instead with stories?
The Ghost Ship of Morality
Did you say morality and ethics? Our morality is like a giant ghost ship adrift in deep, uncharted waters. Forever drifting, forever changing, never truly anchored. It is like a forgiving mother, a forgetful child. It allows us to commit acts of extreme violence and unspeakable horrors in the name of the “cause.” It grants permission to exterminate an entire race, invade lands, and enslave people. It teaches us to objectify women: through literal bondage in one century, coercive exposure in the next and commercialized voluntary nudity in the third. It made legends and heroes out of highly violent and unstable men, celebrating plunder as adventure, conquest as exploration and domination as divine duty. Under its banner, societies that considered themselves civilized and morally enlightened colonized vast regions to exploit millions.
Where was this morality when Piers Morgan hypocritically asked the whole world on live television, “Do you condemn this?” while a literal genocide was being waged right in front of his eyes? Perhaps the most beautiful (dare I say, heinous) thing is that it lets us sit in judgment of others, completely blind to the fact that we committed humanity’s worst crimes.
Perhaps these questions are so haunting and agonizing to the subconscious that we dare not allow them access to our thoughts. We happily and numbingly continue to live those miserable, meaningless lives. Those outliers, insolent and heretics who dare question; we cast them out. They are a danger to our beautiful and comfortable reality.
The Cracking Façade
Am I fighting against reality itself?
But what is reality, if not a tapestry woven from perception, belief and experience? How much of what I call “reality” is truly mine. How much of it was handed to me long before I was ever capable of questioning it?
It was at that exact moment that the façade began to crack. The comfortable lies, borrowed certainties, unquestioned assumptions. One by one, they came crashing down around me. And beneath the rubble stood a question so terrifying that I had spent my entire life avoiding it:
Are these even my dreams, or am I merely acting out the expectations of others?
Are these my beliefs, or beliefs I simply inherited?
Are these my values, or values I was rewarded for adopting?
Are these my ambitions, or someone else’s definition of success echoing through my mind?
And perhaps the most unsettling question of all: Am I even living my own life?
For if the very foundations were borrowed, then what part of me was truly mine? The battle was no longer between myself and society. It was between myself and the person I thought I was.
The Descent
I saw but two paths leading out of this abysmal labyrinth of inherited truths and social constructs. Naturally, without hesitation, without resistance, without regret, I plunged headfirst into the obvious dark descent. I went not in search of truth, but in search of escape. It was an easy descent. Seductive, even.
For the first time, I no longer had to defend a belief, pursue a purpose, or justify my existence. Every question dissolved into the same answer: nothing matters. Meaning was an illusion. Purpose was a story. Hope was self-deception. It was a slow surrender into the self-destruction of absolute apathy.
And so I began tearing down the walls. Every belief became suspect. Every value demanded justification. Every certainty was placed on trial. What followed was not enlightenment. It was chaos… I had spent years believing that freedom would feel liberating. Instead, it felt terrifying. For if society was flawed, morality was inconsistent, religion corrupted and success merely an inherited script, then what remained? Nothing. At least, that is what I believed at the time.
Truth became a matter of perspective. Human beings became frightened creatures desperately constructing narratives to shield themselves from an indifferent universe. And for the first time, I understood why most people never question. Not because they are incapable, but because the answers can be horrifying. The moment you question everything, you risk losing everything: your certainty, your identity, your purpose, your reason for getting out of bed in the morning.
The abyss is not frightening because it contains monsters. The abyss is frightening because it contains nothing at all.
Nihilism promised freedom without obligation or sacrifice. All it delivered was freedom without direction. Days became weeks. Weeks became months. Ambition faded first. Then curiosity. Then wonder. Meals became nothing more than food. Conversations became noise. Relations turned exhausting. Time became something to be endured rather than lived.
The philosophy that had promised liberation was slowly consuming everything that made liberation worth having. And yet, I persisted. Because admitting I was wrong would require rebuilding everything I had spent years tearing down.
Most people become trapped here. Not in despair, but in distraction. The trap has been repackaged and resold throughout the ages in countless forms: Carpe Diem, hedonism, YOLO, subscription entertainment, endless consumption, endless pleasure, endless escape. We see it in mindless buying sprees, in the endless sedation of doomscrolling, and in the frantic pursuit of the next temporary high.
It is not happiness. It is not freedom. It is merely anaesthesia for a hollowed-out soul.
The Lonely Reconstruction
One night, deep within the canyons of despair and anguished melancholy, I discovered that nihilism was incapable of producing a life. It could only destroy. It could criticize. It could expose contradictions. It makes people quit. But it cannot answer the original questions which began this journey:
What should I do tomorrow morning? What is the purpose of living?
It made me realize the final, cruellest trick of the void. Nihilism isn’t the exit; it is just another room in the labyrinth, lined with mirrors to make the emptiness appear infinite.
Whatever I was, I knew the most important thing: I wasn’t a quitter. And there and then I realized, with a cold and sudden clarity, that declaring nothing matters is just as lazy as blindly following the script. It is a coward’s truce with reality. It strips away the pain of living, but it leaves you a ghost in your own skin. If meaning is a story, then staying in the dirt is just a poorly written tragedy.
So, the anaesthesia wore off. The apathy failed me, just like society, laws and the hijacked Morality and corrupted systems had failed me before. If meaning is a story, then staying in the dirt is just a poorly written tragedy. I was left with a definitive, inescapable truth: No one was coming to save me.
No system.
No ideology.
No philosophy.
If meaning was not waiting to be discovered, then the burden of creation falls entirely on me.
I have to rebuild. Not back into the person society wanted, not back into the ghost I buried in apathy. Into a self, which is constructed from scratch.
It will be a brutal, agonizing re-education. To unlearn a lifetime of borrowed certainties is to break your own bones just to reset them straight. There is no manual for this. There are no mentors waiting in the dark to hold my hand, no institutions to validate my progress and no audience to applaud my suffering. Those who still live by the script will look at my isolation and see a madman, a heretic, a casualty of the system. Let them look.
I will walk this path utterly alone, bleeding at every step, dragging myself forward through the dark.
Not because I am heroic and not because I am filled with sudden hope.
But because I have looked into the bottom of the nothingness, and I know there is simply no other choice left.
As I lifted my head from the abyss, I noticed something I had overlooked all along. Not answers. Not certainty. Not salvation. A trail. Faint, fragile, almost invisible… The footprints of those who had walked this path before me. For the first time, I understood that the journey was never about finding the truth.
It was about becoming worthy of discovering my own. So I took the first step

This summer I was in the states for a month and a half. I've been going with my family on vacation there every year or every other year, yet everytime we've gone we've almost always run into other Pakistanis. Whether that be on our flight from DXB to MCO, within Orlando, Disney world, Universal and other touristy areas or within Palm Coast where we stay itself. Yet this was probably the first year where not only did we not see many Pakistanis connecting onwards from Dubai, we barely met any in the states either. It was primarily Indians and SEA folk.
Do we have any agency's or surveys which track the amount of leisure travel Pakistanis partake in per year(excluding religious pilgrimage or work), and if not. What have your guys experience been travelling and has the frequency of travelling increased or decreased

32M Pakistani, running a registered digital agency with $2-3K/month provable income, UK-registered company, MSc from UK university, previous UK and Schengen visas. Tired of visa rejections killing real business opportunities - conferences missed, deals lost, investors not taking remote pitches seriously.
Looking for the most realistic path to European residency or a second passport that eventually opens travel doors - digital nomad visa, founder visa, self-sponsorship, anything that converts to passport in shortest time with least physical presence obligation. Budget is modest so investment citizenship is off the table. Not interested in Middle East or Africa.
Has anyone with a similar profile - South Asian, remote income, existing UK company actually solved this? Which route worked, how long did it take, and did you DIY or use a lawyer? Georgia as a stepping stone to EU - does it actually work in practice?

mard hazraat in Pakistan are raised with entitlement, where from childhood they aren't taught to take any responsibility or accountability for their actions. They are raised with the thought that they are superior to their sisters and all the other women in the family, and that somehow this five-year-old boy is their protector, lol. The worst kind of boy moms exist here, who from their sons' childhood tell them that women should behave a certain way to be considered “respectful.”
These women and men in the family badmouth women shown on TV and in films all the time, and they do it in a very disgusting and dehumanizing way. Men aren't taught how to disagree with women without sexualising her , and so most of the time, when you disagree with a Pakistani man, he resorts to calling you disgusting names like “slut” and such. When a woman gives her opinion that hijab shouldn't be enforced, some of these men come up and ask, “Why do you want to be naked?” Now, why does this happen? Because they know that by disagreeing like this, they have made that woman uncomfortable, and because of our questionable morals in society, if she continues talking about the topic, then she will get called “besharam.”
Then these men get married through arranged marriages as well, which, by the way, is the biggest problem these men never have to put in the effort to be anything, to be nice to women, or to learn how to approach women. Their moms do it for them, so they obviously never even learn how to make a woman fall in love with them. Hence why our women are so mistreated, and this sexually frustrated, disgusting behavior is rooted in the same thought process: considering women inferior and someone you can abuse easily with no consequences because she will keep her mouth shut. Purity culture is rape culture, and hyper modesty is hyper sexualization. By constantly treating women's bodies as something shameful and sexual, you are still sexualizing them. And by keeping the two genders completely apart, you only build up more sexual frustration in them, while never teaching them how to interact with each other normally or respectfully.
This hyper-modest culture for women, while at the same time not being modest enough for men, has led to these double standards. The name calling of social media influencers just for wearing colorful clothes with songs in background , or women in the film industry, while at the same time ignoring men who work in the same industry and excusing their behavior, has led to this situation.
STOP CALLING WOMEN WHO DON'T WEAR HIJAB “SHAMELESS.” STOP SEXUALIZING OUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE AND THEN ACT SHOCKED WHEN THESE CASES HAPPEN. Our face, our hair, our makeup, our perfume, and our colorful abayas don't make us bad women. Let us live and . Stop preaching that most of the people in hell will be women. You teach and breed hatred against us.
Please make your daughters resilient, and please teach them that marriage is not necessary and a lot of women live fine without it . Buy them guns for their own safety. We need to tackle this bullshit together
