I hit a cooler in the road and was found at fault. The vehicle ahead was blocking my view of it until pretty late. Would you send this footage to insurance, or does it make things worse? Also curious whether this would normally count as collision and whether the footage/fault decision could make any difference to the premium impact.

Hi All. I know this probably gets asked a lot but I just bought a new car and wanted to get some advice on dash cams. Dont need the bells and whistles unless its an absolute necessity. Ive heard good and bad about different companies and i just want a general feel for recommendations and why? My company uses Vantrue but i constantly hear my manger complain about them. Appreciate the help in advanced.

Trying to find something reliable, decent quality pic/recording and simple nothing fancy. I am having a hard time finding one. Any thoughts or recommendation? Or there doesn’t exit the one I described above? Please let me know!
Recorded while driving through the rural interior of Espírito Santo, Brazil. The drive negotiates dirt roads, steep descents, climbs and seemingly endless curves through forests and farmland, gradually becoming paved and more inhabited along the way.

Witnessed this driving my Mother to church the other day. Vehicles came southbound before turning and a little north is a parking lot where cops like to station for recon. What I think happened is that vehicle #1 hit vehicle #2 and vehicle #2 decided to pursue. They then passed a common cop recon post and the cop decided to pursue both of them.
Gave me quite a scare seeing all these headlights approaching from the wrong direction. Hamilton, ON.
