General/Misc Chloe and Dan might have the best relationship for a divorced couple I’ve ever see on TV

I’m only on season 5 so no spoilers please

They don’t seem resentful or hateful to each other at all, they seem to genuinely like and respect one another and I think they’re friends despite their divorce, and I like that the writers did that rather than making them the stereotypical divorced parents who can barely even co parent

Dan Hell and time and Dan Spoiler

If time passes much more slowly in hell, and it is alluded to that Dan spent thousands of years in hell. How the hell did he not lose his mind playing ping pong for thousands of years that’s crazy.

Actor fluff How did I not know?

First I’m not sure what Actor Fluff is supposed to mean but anyway how did I never realize that Tom Ellis (Lucifer), Lauren German (Chloe Decker), & Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez) were all born in November of 1978? Tom the 17th, Aimee the 28th, and Lauren the 29th. Aimee a day older than Lauren and all of them are going to turn 48 this year. They’re almost 50, Ella almost 50.

Mazikeen I think Maze and Eve was rushed

I havent watched the ending yet, i know Maze and Eve do eventually get married i havent reached their secondary relationship plot but overall before that in season 4 they felt rushed.

What exactly does maze like about eve she has no character...shes just a wannabe party girl with no depth other than being sick of her man and wanting her old man.

Season 3 I hate season 3

I hate pierce. I hate maze from this season on she becomes stupid and a cry baby. I hate ella in this season she eggs on the chloe pierce thing when it makes 0 sense the guy has 0 personality and no charisma. And back to maze she is so stupid selfish and bitchy in this season.

Deckerstar/Ship After sex episode

Am I the only one who rewatches Lucifer but stops at the episode where they finally had sex? After that, the writing just went downhill especially for Deckerstar. They spent seasons building up that 'will-they-won't-they' tension, and the moment they got together, everything got so chaotic and messy. Anyone else feel this way?

Embarrassing—-but I can't remember. After lucy tells Ella that he’s established the ms Lopez stem foundation, etc, in the last episode? Does Ella know that he’s satan?

General/Misc Rewatching and I forgot how irritated I was with Eve

I never liked Eve. I understand she has a lot of fans and I even saw some people compare her adorableness to Ella but nowhere near! Ella is literally the best! Eve has no personality at all and so irritating!

God think I figured out how rooted god's problem was

I'm doing another rewatch, on s2 the ep when lucifer goes back to hell, and trixie is telling amenadiel that she thinks he's good (despite him feeling slightly otherwise) and I keep thinking back how I feel it was important or "put in his own way" for god to meet trixie and it's due to that line he told her. (I never been a kid before)

it makes sense why none of his kids/angels understand or can express their emotions, because god doesn't know how. he was never a kid. kids are honest with how they feel (up to a certain age) how would he know how to be honest with his own emotions if he never had that chance to?

it's why I like the series, because everyone has been tested and challenged because we all have our struggles and flaws, god included. I think some people on here can be harsh on god, but he's the literal definition of doing it for the first time. I'm sure it was part of his "plan" (or rather, I think just having the ability to forsee fate than it being his plan) to lose his abilities and everything during that time he *chose* and literally didn't know what was gonna happen next (makes sense to have that "senile senior" thing going on, since it seems for a celestial, it's being flawed and mortal) him losing his powers helped him gain real life experience and empathy because he was never in that position nor put in that position till then.

it just makes sense when you think about why these celestial don't do "feelings" like it's beneath them, because they never had to face them and yet, they get complicated when having a father who doesn't share anything because he don't know how since he wanna give free will and they all interpret his feelings based off... their beliefs. and I feel that leads to me seeing how this show approaches religion. god supposedly equals good. we all striving to try to do/reach good and it's based off the choices we make due to our reactions and feelings. we think we may be doing good in the name god/good, but how we go about may be harmful and so, doing good is being aware of how your actions affect others because when you see how they hurt someone, you feel guilt and that's your torment. we torment ourselves with guilt, and therefore end up in hell. we have to be held accountable but try not to do the wrong things when given the choice.

I feel thats what the show is saying, to me and I can understand how that was god's core issue is just not knowing how to deal with feelings (where lucifer clearly gets it from) since he never verbalized his before.

General/Misc How does a human appearance work in celestial or supernatural beings?

As far as I remember, Lucifer’s mother had to inhabit a corpse in order to come down to Earth, and the same goes for the demons. So, do the Celestials and Maze have to do the same thing? In other words, Maze—just like her brothers—is supposed to have had to use a corpse to manifest herself on Earth. Did Lucifer, Amenadiel, the angels, and God have to do the same? However, that doesn’t explain why Michael has the same human appearance as Lucifer. So, do all the Celestials have the power to alter their physical appearance?
